Scholarships students might not be aware of

While there are many scholarships available to Laramie County Community College students, some might not be aware of them.

Two scholarships at LCCC are the Presidential Scholarship and the Dean’s Scholarship. The Presidential Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors who earned a 3.5 GPA or above at the end of their junior year. The Dean’s Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who earned a 3.0-3.49 GPA in their junior year.

There are also many private donor scholarships for students, spanning a wide range of majors and fields. Some of these scholarships require as little as maintaining a 2.0 GPA.

The scholarships can be found on the LCCC home page, lccc.wy.edu, in the services page. All that is required is the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student aid (FAFSA) and sometimes a transcript copy.
