Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue set date to get jazzy at the Civic Center

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will be performing at the Cheyenne Civic Center on Jan. 31.

Troy Andrews, also known as Trombone Shorty, plays a mix of jazz, hip hop, and heritage music. Andrews is coming to Cheyenne as part of a tour to promote his ninth album, “Parking Lot Symphony.”

Andrews has played with a number of popular musicians including Bo Diddley, Lenny Kravitz, Charles Neville of the Neville Brothers, U2, Green Day, Queen Latifah and Usher. Andrews has also appeared on Conan, the Late Show with David Letterman, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. on Nov. 17. They can be purchased at the Cheyenne Civic Center box office and online at www.cheyenneciviccenter.org.
