Halladay Subaru awards students with $2,000 scholarships

Halladay Subaru has teamed up with Laramie County Community College to award five students attending the Cheyenne campus with $2,000 scholarships.

“Halladay Subaru is a great community partner, and we appreciate all they do to help the college and our students,” Lisa Murphy of the LCCC Foundation said.

The scholarship money will be provided through The Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment and is available to any student attending LCCC’s main campus in Cheyenne.

The scholarships will honor longtime Cheyenne philanthropist John Clay with support from Jim Casey and Tim Joannides.

Nearly $500,000 in scholarships are expected to be handed out to LCCC students through the LCCC Foundation in the upcoming academic year.
