Alcohol violation

Campus Safety investigated a report of an alcohol violation in the College Community Center.

 

Feb. 21

Hit/run accident

Campus Safety identified a driver who was involved in a hit/run accident in Parking Lot A. The driver’s information was provided to the victim and the Laramie County Sherriff’s Office.

 

Feb. 23

Fire alarm

Fire District 1 responded to a fire alarm at Residence Hall, as did Residence Life and Campus Safety; no actual conflagration.

Campus Safety, the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office and Residence Life staff conducted an investigation concerning an alcohol violation in the Residence Hall.

Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm in the Arena. The alarm was accidentally activated and reset.

Injury report

Campus Safety investigated a situation in which a staff member reported slipping and falling on ice in the Center for Conferences and Institutes parking lot.

Vehicle strike

A Campus Safety officer observed a vehicle strike a parked and unoccupied vehicle in Parking Lot B. The officer identified the driver of the vehicle, contacted the victim and provided driver’s information to the victim.

Campus Safety investigated a report of an injury at the Auto Diesel building.

Medical emergency

Campus Safety assisted with a medical emergency at Albany County Campus.

Campus Safety and the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of a hit/run accident which involved a vehicle in Parking Lot K.

Lost item

A Campus Safety officer found a laptop which belonged to the Ludden Library in the Community College Center lounge area. The officer returned it to the library.

Lost item

A staff member found a piece of jewelry in the Center for Conferences and Institutes. It was turned in to Campus Safety who locked in the lost/found locker until its owner can be identified.

Harassment report

Campus Safety, Residence Life and the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of a harassing phone call received by an individual in the Residence Hall.
