Students, organizations invited to spring cleaning on campus

The Laramie County Community College student leadership institute is organizing a campus cleanup on April 18.

The campus clean-up is open to all student groups on campus, as well as other students who want to help out. While the event is to be held on Wed. April 18, Zeke Sorenson, coordinator of Student Engagement & Diversity, said that they will be flexible with groups so they can help when they are available.

For the cleanup, groups can sign up for a certain time and certain place that hasn’t already been chosen on campus to clean up.

“This event is part of our annual earth day programming,” Student Government Association senator Cara Carpenter said. “We aim to educate and take action on environmental issues.”

The supplies can be checked out in the S.L.I.C.E. office and to get signed up, contact Sorenson for the link.
