Lost and found

Campus Safety was able to return a piece of jewelry from lost and found to its owner.

Fire alarm

Campus Safety assisted residence life with a fire alarm in the Residence Hall.

Damaged property  

Campus Safety found damage to a way-finding directory sign (Campus Mall); work order was placed to Physical Plant.

Lost and found

Campus Safety found a backpack and its contents unattended in Flex Tech. It was placed in lost and found until its owner could be identified. Campus Safety was able to speak with the owner and the property was returned.

A staff member found a Fit-Bit device and charger unattended in the College Community Center. It was placed into lost and found until its owner can be identified.

Injury report

An individual fell off of a horse at the Arena. Campus Safety responded and completed a report.

Suspicious vehicle

Campus Safety and the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office investigated a parked and unoccupied vehicle at the Arena. The vehicle had been on campus and had not been moved for several days.

Campus Safety investigated damage to a college bus; occurred off-campus.

Campus Safety responded to a request for medical assistance at the Science Center.

Campus Safety completed an investigation pertaining to damage that was discovered on a vehicle that was parked in Parking Lot M. Location where damage occurred is unknown.

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to a possible injury sustained at the Health Science building.

Campus Safety assisted with a request for medical assistance in the Clay Pathfinder building.

Campus Safety assisted with a request for medical assistance at the Agriculture building.

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to an individual who became ill in the Career and Technical building.

Campus Safety investigated missing property at the Modular building.

Campus Safety completed a report pertaining to a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Parking Lot D.

 

April 2

False alarm

Campus Safety responded to an elevator entrapment alarm within the East Residence Hall elevator. The alarm had been falsely activated by individuals within the elevator. They had exited the elevator prior to the officer’s arrival.

 

April 4

Fire alarm

Campus Safety and Residence Life staff assisted Fire District 1 personnel in response to a fire alarm in the North Hall. There was no fire. Maintenance personnel will follow-up with system inspections to determine the cause of activation.
