Primus and Mastodon

What it is: Primus and Mastodon will kick off their 43-date 2018 summer tour at Red Rocks Amphitheater. The tour is promoting both band’s most recent albums, Mastodon’s “Emperor of Sand” and Primus’ “The Desaturating Seven.” All Them Witches will be joining Primus and Mastodon for the Red Rocks show. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

What it is: Khalid is an up-and-coming artist who started his R&B career in 2015. He released his debut album in 2017 called “American Teen,” which had the hit song “Young, Dumb & Broke.” Khalid has earned several new artist awards. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

When: 5 p.m., June 3

What it is: Marshmello is an electronic dance music producer and DJ who wears a mask that resembles a marshmallow as part of his on-stage personality. Marshmello started his career in 2015 and released his debut album in 2016 called “Joytime.” Marshmello will be joined by Oliver Heldens, Ookay (Live), Yultron and Loud Luxury. Doors open at 5 p.m.

When: 6:30 p.m., June 15-16

What it is: ODESZA is an electronic dance group made up of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight. The group debuted in 2012 and have released three albums with the most recent 2017’s “A Moment Apart.” ODESZA will be joined by Chet Porter and Pluko. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The Avett Brothers

When: 7:30 p.m., June 29-30 and July 1

What it is: The Avett Brothers are a folk rock band originating out of Concord, North Carolina. The band debuted in 2000 and consists of Seth Avett, Bob Crawford and Joe Kwon. They have produced nine albums with the most recent one “True Sadness” in 2016. Mandolin Orange will be joining The Avett Brothers on stage. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Blues Travelers

When: 5 p.m., July 4

What it is: Blues Traveler is a rock band that debuted in 1987. The band’s frontman, John Popper, has been with Blues Traveler since the beginning along with drummer Brendan Hill and guitarist Chan Kinchla. Blues Traveler has produced 12 albums with the most recent, “Blow Up the Moon,” coming in 2015. This will be the 24th time Blues Traveler has played at Red Rocks on the Fourth of July weekend, only missing in 1999. The band will be joined by G. Love & Special Sauce, The Wailers, The Devon Allman Project and special guest Duane Betts. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Imagine Dragons

When: 7 p.m., July 16

What it is: Imagine Dragons is a rock band that debuted in 2008 and went mainstream in 2012 with its debut album “Night Visions.” The album put Imagine Dragons on the rock map with hit singles “Radioactive” and “It’s Time.” Imagine Dragons has continued to be a popular band with its latest 2017 album “Evolve.” The band will be joined by Grace Vanderwaal. Doors open at 6 p.m.

What it is: Paramore is a rock band that debuted in 2004 and has produced five albums. Paramore brings a unique sound with lead singer Hayley Williams, who has been part of Paramore since its inception. In 2017, Paramore released its most recent album, “After Laughter.” The band will be joined by Foster the People. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

What it is: Halsey is an American singer and songwriter who made her debut into the music industry in 2014. She has released two albums, with “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom” being released in 2017. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

Portugal. The Man

When: 8 p.m., Aug. 8

What it is: Portugal. The Man is an American rock band that has been around since 2004 and has been in the public eye with the recent hit song “Feel It Still.” The band has produced eight albums and seen more than 13 bandmates. Portugal. The Man will be joined by Oh Sees. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Pretty Lights

What it is: Pretty Lights is an electronic music producer that made his debut in 2004. Pretty Lights has produced four albums with his most recent album, “A Color Map of the Sun,” in 2013. He is a recurring act at Red Rocks. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Niall Horan

When: 7 p.m., Aug. 20

What it is: Niall Horan is an Irish singer and songwriter who debuted with One Direction and went solo in 2016. Horan’s solo work is best known for his singles “Slow Hands” and “This Town.” He will be joined by Maren Morris.

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats

When: 8 p.m., Aug. 22-23

What it is: Nathaniel Rateliff is a singer and songwriter who is based out of Denver and debuted in 2005. He is most known for his song “S.O.B.” that was released in 2015. Rateliff has produced three solo albums and released four with his band The Night Sweats. They will be joined by Slim Cessna’s Auto Club. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Tyler Haak is a young man who grew up in the great state of Wyoming. After graduating from East High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming, he decided to pursue a higher education. He moved to Laramie, Wyoming, where he was accepted into the College of Business at the University of Wyoming. During his time there he studied accounting and finance but he could never find what he was truly passionate about. Along with attending the University of Wyoming, he also spent a year and a half at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne. Tyler finally found his passion after attending the Colorado Media School in Denver, Colorado. He originally attended the school because of his passion for sports radio, but he became very interested in the video side of sports. After graduating from CMS, he took a job at the University of Wyoming working sporting events with the video and audio crew. Tyler is currently still with the University of Wyoming and has decided to pursue his education further in hopes to become a full-time employee in sports broadcasting. Tyler is enrolled at LCCC and will receive a degree in Mass Media in the spring of 2018. He plans on furthering his education and receiving a sports broadcasting degree once he is done at LCCC.
