Students enjoy a BBQ for Week of Welcome

Editor’s note: A previous version of this post incorrectly reported that Sodexo hosted the free barbecue for Week of Welcome. The Campus Activities Board hosted the event. Sodexo, the campus’s food service vendor, was paid to provide food. All Week of Welcome events were sponsored by Campus Activities Board.

On Wednesday, Aug. 29, Campus Activities Board hosted a free barbecue for students as part of LCCC’s Week of Welcome. Students could enjoy free burgers, hot dogs, desserts and other sides.

Just wanted to clarify that Sodexo catered this event, however, Campus Activities Board paid for and hosted this event for the student body as well as the other Week of Welcome activities.
