Oktoberfest to feature games, music, second-annual brew-off, and more
With the 50th anniversary of Laramie County Community College just around the corner, many people may not know what else is going on in Cheyenne.
Oktoberfest
When: Sept. 22. From noon to 7 p.m.
Where: The Archer Complex at the Laramie County Fairgrounds.
What it is: Oktoberfest will feature contests, food, beer, a cornhole tournament, vendors and games for all ages. There will also be live music from 1-4 p.m. featuring Jim Ehrlich and the Polka Mates, and Southern Fryed will perform from 4-7 p.m.. The second-annual brew-off will also be held.
Cost: The events are free, but some contests require registration and fees ranging from $10-30.
