Best on campus livestock show

Best on Campus Champion belt buckle.

Laramie County Community College’s Best on Campus Livestock Show is scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21 in the LCCC Arena. This event is coinciding with LCCC’s 50th anniversary celebration on Saturday, Sept. 22.

A traveling belt buckle will be introduced for the champion of the livestock show. It will cost $10 to nominate a contestant and if the nominee chooses not to participate, there will be a $50 “buy-out” fee. For any questions or to make a nomination, email mmorris@lccc.wy.edu or call 778-1192.

Courtney Walston, a third-year student studying Mass Media at Laramie County Community College, hopes to someday become a photographer for National Geographic. Walston has already earned one degree from LCCC in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts. Walston was the senior editor of the East High School newspaper her senior year and was involved with yearbook as well.
