The Laramie County Community College volleyball team snagged two more Region IX victories on the road Oct. 5-6 to run the Golden Eagles winning streak to six.
On Oct. 5, the Golden Eagles beat Northwest College in Powell, 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-9). Avery Nelson led the match with 16 kills, while Kylie Martin had 14 digs.
On Oct. 6, the Golden Eagles traveled to Sheridan to face Sheridan College, which was 5-1 in conference play going into the match. LCCC went on to win the match 3-1 (25-14, 25-19, 29-31, 25-17). Nelson led the match with 20 kills while Martin had 22 digs.
The Golden Eagles currently sit at the top of the Region IX North Division with a record of 6-0. They face McCook Community College at 6 p.m. Oct 9 at the Recreation and Athletics Complex.
