Men’s soccer end losing streak

The Laramie County Community College men’s soccer team put an end to a three-game losing streak with a decisive win on Wednesday, Oct. 3.

The team visited Western Wyoming Community College and came away with a 5-1 victory, bringing the Golden Eagles to 4-5 overall and 3-2 in Region IX North play.

Cameron Broadhurst scored first for the Golden Eagles early in the first half, and he was followed by goals from Sagar Bhattarai and Raul Magno before Bhattarai scored two more, giving him a hat trick for the game.  

LCCC hosted Northwest College on Saturday, Oct. 6, and played to a 0-0 tie. The draw moves the Golden Eagles to 4-5-1 overall and 3-2-1 in Region IX North.

The Golden Eagles will travel to face Gillette College at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10.
