Volleyball wins two conference games with ease

The Laramie County Community College volleyball team was in action again Oct. 12-13 and added two more victories to its impressive nine-game win streak.

 

On Oct. 12, LCCC hosted Central Wyoming and won the match 3-1 (25-14, 25-20, 23-25, 25-9). The Golden Eagles’ Kyle Metzler led the match in digs (13) and service attempts (3). Avery Nelson notched 11 kills for the Golden Eagles.

 

On Oct. 13, LCCC hosted Western Wyoming College and swept the Mustangs 3-0 (32-30, 25-14, 25-15). Nelson led that match with 16 kills while Metzler had 12 digs.

 

The two wins helped the Golden Eagles’ record improve to 13-4 in Region IX and 20-7 overall. They host Eastern Wyoming at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the RAC. On Friday, they travel to Casper to play Casper College at 7 p.m.
