Rodeo wraps fall season up, prepares for spring

The rodeo team wrapped up its fall season at home Oct. 12-14 by hosting the Shawn Dubie Memorial Rodeo.

 

The men’s team tied for eighth place with a total of 95 points. The Golden Eagles were led by Ryan Shuckburgh, who took fourth in the steer wrestling with a total time of 8.9 seconds.  Brock Belkham took fifth in the tie-down roping with a total time of 24.3 seconds.

 

The women’s team placed ninth.

 

The Golden Eagles will be back in action in the spring at the Gillette College rodeo March 17 in Gillette.
