Students can complete their high school equivalency for free

The Adult Career and Education System (ACES) is offering classes to students that want to complete their high school equivalency for free.

Adult Education and High School Equivalency Certificate Preparation will be offered Oct. 29 through Dec. 12 as a class to help prepare for the tests. HiSET is offered through ACES and GED 2014 is offered through the Exam Lab.

Information sessions will take place at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23. Parents of students under the age of 18 are encouraged to attend so signatures can be obtained.

Residents of 16 or older are able to attend these non-credit instructions in the morning, afternoon and evenings.

The program helps students to develop skills necessary to continue education or employment through training in academics, communication skills and college and career transition.

For more information or to reserve a space in these classes, contact ACES at (307) 637-2450.
