Volleyball extends win streak to 1, closes out regular season play Oct. 27

The Laramie County Community College volleyball team won again at Casper College on Oct. 19, moving its win streak to 11 straight.

 

The Golden Eagles opened the match slow, dropping the first set against the Thunderbirds 25-18. After that it was all LCCC, winning the next three sets 25-18, 25-13 and 25-16. Kylie Martin led the match with 17 kills and Kyle Metzler added 22 digs. The win moved the Golden Eagles to 22-7 overall and 10-0 in Region IX north.

 

The Golden Eagles host nationally ranked No. 19 Western Nebraska at 7 p.m.  Tuesday in the RAC, then host Northwest College at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 in the RAC. The Golden Eagles close the regular season at 3 p.m. Oct. 27 when Sheridan College comes to the RAC.
