Volleyball wins Region IX north, prepare for regional tournament

The Laramie County Community College volleyball team closed out its regular season finishing 12-0 in the Region IX north division and winning the regular season title.

 

The Golden Eagles concluded their regular season on Oct. 27 at home against Sheridan College and won the match 3-1 (25-15, 23-25, 25-14, 26-24). Avery Nelson led the Golden Eagles to victory with 14 kills and Kylie Martin chipped in with 17 digs.

 

The Golden Eagles are back in action at the Region IX Tournament against the winner of Lamar Community College/ Casper College at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Storey Gym.
