Construction on the Ludden Library is still on schedule and is due to be finished around the beginning of the spring semester.

The construction began in June..

Maura Hadaway, the associate dean of the library and learning commons, said that the construction was delayed  by the weather in August, but the library is still on schedule for completion in the spring semester.

Hadaway also said there has been no changes or complications in the construction.

Rick Johnson, vice president of administration and finance, said the renovation is a $2 million project and that the funding came from a variety of sources.

Hadaway said the library construction funds were raised by the LCCC Foundation and was matched with money from the state’s abandoned mine lands funds.
