Men’s win in OT to beat Northwest College

The Laramie County Community College men’s basketball team outscored Northwest College in the second half 41-34 to force overtime before winning a close game 86-85 on Wednesday, Jan. 30 in Powell.

The Golden Eagles outscored the Trappers 9-8 in the extra period to get the victory. Sophomore Tyrese Potoma had a game-high 22 points and team-high four assists. Mateo Zovko came off the bench for the Golden Eagles and contributed with 15 points and five rebounds.

The men return home to take on 12th-ranked Casper College at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, in the Recreation and Athletic Complex.
