The Paramount Ballroom

The Paramount Ballroom, a beacon of hipster attitude in the middle of downtown Cheyenne, with a mix of gold, marble, leather and tweed to make up the mid-century seating.

The building was built in 1904 and was a hotel, two theaters, a ladies hat store and movie theater.

The Ballroom is owned and operated by Renee & Jon Jelinek, who also own the Paramount Cafe, a coffee shop that neighbors the Ballroom.

The decor and ambiance of the low lighting creates a relaxing environment to sit with friends, do some homework and drink and snack.

The Paramount Ballroom offers a variety of cocktails, spirits and beer. The Paramount Ballroom specializes in local spirits and offers beers exclusively brewed in Wyoming. The Ballroom offers a menu of appetizers and cheese and snacks but does not serve full dinners.

Breakout:
The ballroom is located at 1609 Capitol Ave. in downtown Cheyenne. The hours are 4-10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 4-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
