Trophies won by humanities students

Voters approved a property tax increase in the fall of 2018 that will be used to fund a new Performing Arts Center and renovations to the college’s Fine Arts building. While preparing to move out of Fine Arts for the renovation work that began in summer of 2019, faculty in the School of Arts and Humanities unearthed several boxes of trophies and awards won by Laramie County Community College students who attended college in the 1990s and 2000s. Wingspan photographer Rebekah Sweet photographed more than 100 trophies and plaques during the spring 2019 semester to preserve the award-winning history of LCCC’s humanities students.
